| Ken’s brother Dave invited Laura to a party. The plan was to set up Laura with their friend Brad. However, Laura was waylaid by a tall handsome man (that was Ken, of course) in the living room who made her laugh. Then they learned they share a love of musical theater.

FIRST DATE - September 19, 2003Ken invited Laura for a picnic on a beautiful bluff in Discovery Park. It was cold & windy, but they didn’t care. After their picnic, they did not want the date to end, so they went for a beer at a local Irish bar. The evening included both arm wrestling and thumb wrestling.

| Making dinner at Laura’s apartment. Basically they were having a discussion about getting the first “I love you” out of the way. Laura said it first. Ken was silent (he was chastising himself for not beating her to it).
